As for the Anglo-Dutch, I made a video fly-over of the entire Prussian army. Give it a watch 🙂

Prussians are done!
I am reached the second major milestone in my Waterloo project: The Prussian Army of the Lower Rhine is complete!
The last unit to be painted was the 24. Infanterie Regiment. I also added a few more vignettes, allied observers, and Generalmajor von Mueffling meeting his counterpart of Wellington’s staff MG Sir Barnes. You can find a full breakdown of the Prussian army on their page.
Prussian 1. Brigade
I finished the 12. Infanterie Regiment and the 1. Westfaelisches Landwehr Regiment, both with the usual three battalions and attached Jaeger. Only one regiment left to complete the Prussian Army of the Lower Rhine (or at least the portion of it that made it to Waterloo. Final sprint!
12. IR was in transition from a reserve unit (2. Brandenburg) and thus mostly wears the grey/black uniforms of the reserve. Officers, NCO and some troopers have received the new blue line uniforms already. Figures are from Calpe Miniatures.
1. Westfaelisches Landwehr Regiment had a unique uniform with a short blue jacket and stovepipe shako with Prussian cross. I converted these from Wargames Atlantic plastic reservists with shaved down Warlord shakos.
Last Prussian Cavalry
I finished the three Prussian cavalry regiments that were directly attached to the infantry brigades at Waterloo. This wraps up the cavalry for my collection with just one brigade of infantry left to paint.
From the top we have 4. Husaren Regiment attached to 1. Brigade (I Korps), two squadrons each of 11. Husaren Regiment attached to 5. and 6. Brigade (II Korps), and finally the uniquely-uniformed 3. Schlesisches (Silesian)Landwehr Kavallerie Regiment attached in squadrons to 15. and 16. Brigade (IV Korps).
Completed the last unit for 5. Brigade in the form of the 5. Westfaelisches (Westphalian) Landwehr Regiment. Commanded by Oberstleutnant Ruchel von Roedel and including a small detachment of Jaegers. On to 6. Brigade!
Another addition to the ever-growing Prussian project: 25. Infanterie Regiment composed of two musketeer battalions from the old Luetzow Legion in black uniforms, a regular fusilier battalion with skirmishers, and a company of Jaeger from the Tyrol in their distinct grey uniforms.
With the Prussian cavalry and artillery completed, it’s back to the infantry. I finished 2. Infanterie Regiment with the usual three battalions, skirmishers and attached volunteer Jaeger.
Dutch-Belgians for Waterloo
Over the last few months I have added lots of British infantry, cavalry and artillery to the Waterloo collection. You can see the results on the gradually expanding page here.
My next frontier were the Dutch-Belgian forces and particularly MG Bijlandt’s 1st Brigade which is shown in all its glory below. 27th Jager, 7th Line, 5th Militia in reduced size after devastating losses at Quatre-Bras, and finally 7th and 8th Militia.

Napoleonic Allied Army
I have launched a new foray into 28mm Napoleonics centered on the battle of Waterloo. The first effort is the growing Allied Army of the Netherlands. The page will expand over time with new units as I complete them. For now, we have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th British Infantry Divisions, and an initial start on the cavalry. Some samples below but check out the page for all photos.
