I am mostly done with the Tzeentchian air force but need some input on painting choices. Below are the wip Firelords. I need a colour choice for the central “engine” area on top of the wing (the ripped surface). For the Slaneesh knights I used Scorpion Green followed by Thraka Green washes to create a green “power coil” look. The alternative for Tzeentch might be yellow with a red wash to create an orange power coil (to tie in with the yellow/orange accents of the rest of the Tzeentch force). Any suggestions?

My washes have finally arrived so I am on the final sprint to finish up the last Lost and the Damned models. Easter seems an appropriate time to paint Slaneesh and Tzeentch (well, at least the colours are dazzling). Below are the Slaneesh Scout Titans: two Subjugators and a Questor.

Well, March was a miserable month on the painting front. My parcel from Maelstrom Games never arrived and hence I had no brown, blue or purple washes (needed to complete any one of the remaining Chaos models…). I only managed 1180 points and four objectives.

Lack of painting supplies made me finish a few more grass terrain tiles (4’x2′) and finish a few Mordheim buildings (pics coming soon). But that doesn’t really count for ToEG. Will do better in April…

More objectives. The lack of painting supplies is really starting to hurt…

A quick “generic” chaos objective. I have a god-specific objective for each of the chaos contingent so I needed two generic ones to share between forces. This is the first one (one item, just two pics). The stones are from Hirst Art, the portal itself is a multi-layer optical film from a very old sample that I had lying around. It’s hard to tell from the photos but the film actually reflects light in different colours depending on the angle of view (across the entire rainbow spectrum). It’s also semi-transparent so models behind the portal will change colours when you look through it. Yes, I am a geek.

This is it! No more infantry for the Lost and the Damned (all gods)! I present two units of Plague Zombies. Or at least two units at average unit size. I guess they fluctuate between games…

As a result of criticism on TacComs, here is the slightly reworked Plague Tower (drilled out the gun barrels).

And a quick Slaneesh objective:

A plague pool for the minions of Nurgle. Greenstuff, some old models and a bit of coloured resin.

The mighty big brother of the Contagion Engines. Took a bit longer because of the banner (which is less “monocolour” in reality).

On the last drop of Devlan Mud I finished the Contagion Engines. Old models but quite lovely. The wood is a blend of colours similar to the Nurgle Altar. Doesn’t come through on the photos though.
