Great concept, somewhat quirky execution with those tiny no-clearance threads But hey, Land Trains are still an iconic part of the Squat army.
Wow, not only have those Squats drained the painting energy out of me, they even stopped the blog posts for a few months. I made one more push to finish the last few models. I present two squadrons of Iron Eagle flyers and two batteries of Thunderfire Guns.
Second to last of the Necron models. I am a useless sculptor so I kitbashed the model from various left-over Otterware parts and a uranium glass marble.
Only two models left to complete the Necron army (Warbarque and Aoenic Orb). The Obelisks models are beautiful Otterware.
Two Otterware Pylons. Only the Monoliths and two Harvester Engines left and then the army is done.
The first vehicles join the growing Necron horde. The models are beautiful multi-part creations from the Tactical Commands forum.
The cavalry has arrived. Two units of regular Destroyers and one Heavy Destroyer unit. All have optional Lord upgrades. Models are Otterware.
Two regular objectives and a Tomb Complex. The obelisks are from the Tactical Commands forum. The main complex is just some bases with the same belt decoration that went onto the Abattoir to give a consistent look across the force. The bases are too large from the obelisks but I standardized on 60mm objective bases for all Epic forces…
