These are mostly old models though the Chaos and Imperial fleets have been semi-recently upgraded with another 20+ extra ships between them (mostly “newer” models beyond the original rule book options). The Imperials are actually entirely repainted because I couldn’t reproduce the old blue colour and I am picky that way…

A small diversion, I finished up some Forge World models for Battlefleet Gothic. Just some Ork Fighta-Bommerz and Eldar fighters & bombers. This finalizes my Battlefleet Gothic collection, at least until I get inspired by another fleet (notably, BFG is now the second 100% painted game system – DBA being the other). Now if only I could shift the “big” systems to that status too…

In a weekend marathon I finished photographing the skirmish cabinet (Blood Bowl, Mordheim, Battlefleet Gothic, Man-o-War, Lord of the Rings, and DBA). Mordheim and BFG is now up. BB and MoW are “GIMPed” and just need to be posted. LotR and DBA still need to go through GIMP. Now comes the daunting task of photographing the main cabinet… 800 minis down, ~4000 still to go…
