Final batch of killer robots. Beautiful custom models from a French sculptor (though a pain to assemble as I had to pin each tiny body piece…).
And the final type of killer robots… the ones with big choppy weapons.
Killer robots with skin grafts and mini robots… The Flayed Ones are “abused” Exodus Wars Edenite models like the warriors and Immortals. The Scarabs are Otterware.
More silver killer robots … with even bigger guns this time. The extra lords allow me to add Immortals with Lord to each of the four Phalanx formations if desired.
Alright, I finally gave up (temporarily) on those remaining Squat models. Looking for something quick and easy my gaze fell upon the Necron force slowly collecting on a drawer. It will be a refreshing change to paint almost an army in just a few evenings (I hope)…
Let’s start with the warriors. Three Phalanx formations with a lord each (the spare warrior is there in case I want to place the lord with an upgrade unit).
I found two Otterware Defiler in a drawer. I think I originally wanted to turn them into Nurgle conversions but now that the Nurgle army tray is completed (and full), I did them up as extra Iron Warrior Defilers.
These are latecomers to the Khorne horde as Exodus Wars only released these wonderful proxies a short while ago.
The Squats are killing me in terms of motivation. Only a few models are left for the army but those happen to be really big: super heavies, flyers and some artillery.
After a long absence due to a mix of travel and Squat-induced painting fatigue, I finally managed to finish the display base for the Nurgle Epic army. Like all my display bases, this one uses a 24″x18″ tray that slots into the display cabinet in the gaming room. The image can be expanded for a detailed view. The army barely fits so no more Nurgle models in the future…
These are just regular Rhinos but for some reason the Squat lists call them Spartans. They will serve as transports for the red Brotherhood.
