English

My English army covers two time periods. The first force centres on the early 15th century and specifically the battle of Agincourt. The second force is from the War of the Roses. The figures are all from Perry, mostly their plastic range.

Heroes: The army is led by a Warlord on foot. Edward of Woodstock, the Black Prince, can be added on foot or mounted.

Hearthguards: Twelve knights in “white” armour – without cloth coverings – form the central battle line of the English army.

Warriors: The English of this era were famed for their archers using the dreaded longbow, though some regular warriors are also available.
