The Welsh are an isolated people under threat from all sides during the Dark Ages. I used figures with minimal equipment to reflect the impoverished nature of the region in the 10th century.
Heroes: The warband can be led by a Warlord, legendary king Maredudd ap Owain, or Owen 1 if fielded as an all-mounted force from Strathclyde.
Hearthguards: Welsh Teulu lead the way on foot or horse.\
Warriors: The Welsh warriors, the Priodaur, likewise come on foot or mounted.
